So, today I won a couple donkaments. It was pretty cool, I started off running like dog-shit and ended up netting a nice little profit. I sucked out on my good friend Marty ‘TheLipoFund’ Mcfly at the final table of the 44 turbo, and I felt bad about it. Hes a good guy and although I don’t care about sucking out on random donks, it feels bad to take down a friend on a bad beat. I love you Marty and I will see you for SB ‘10 though!

I also am second on the TLB weekly leaderboard. Although, if you know me, I really hate mindless grinding. I’d much rather play in tournaments that require thinking and intellectual prowess. Either that or I like to read (yes I am a nerd) rather than play. BUT.. I may attempt to win it this week. It’d be cool to see my picture on the bottom of Pokerstars. Also, the TLB is super messed up in the way it counts points. If you look, multi-table sng players who play the 11 180s always end up winning and have the best chance to win. These guys are not even close to the best tournament players, but they get an absurd amount of points for winning 45 mans and 180 mans. I reckon I’ll just grind those and see what happens.

Dana Gordon had another deep run in the 109 turbo cubed but unfortunately finished 15th this week. Playing with him really helped improve my game and my recent successes in mtts. Although you can chalk it up to ‘run gooot’ variance, I really appreciate him talking hands with me and improving my game tremendously.

I have greatly benefited from being around experience players who just enjoy playing poker. This has opened my eyes to just how many different styles people have and how much I need to learn. Dale ‘daleroxxu’ Philip and me are looking to switch over to cash, so we’ll see if that transition ever happens (and if we can do it successfully). Should be fun to try something new.

Also, bfizz took offense to my comments about his blog. I think anybody who has a post entitled ‘thi$ weekend’ deserves to have people speak out against them.  Unless his s key suddenly stopped working, in which case I am completely in the wrong and I owe an apology. I guess some people feel a need to try to make themselves look cool.. I just don’t get it.
